Logistics Company Takes 267,000 SF at DCT Northwest 8 Distribution Center in Houston
DCT Industrial Trust Inc. has signed an unnamed third-party logistics company to a 267,000 square foot lease for all of its DCT Northwest 8 Distribution Center in the Northwest submarket of Houston. The lease commences in March.
The tenant was represented by David Albert and Glynn Mireles of CBRE in this lease transaction. DCT Industrial was represented by Kit Dolan of Proterra Properties and Will Hedges of DCT Industrial Trust.
“The property was highly sought after as one of the last remaining bulk-industrial sites in the heart of the Northwest submarket,” said Justin E. Bennett, Regional Vice President for DCT Industrial in a statement.
DCT Northwest 8 Distribution Center is a Class A cross dock facility on the southeast corner of Highway 290 and Beltway 8. In April 2012, DCT Industrial Trust reported that it owned 3.4 million square feet in Houston with an overall occupancy rate of 96 percent.
