The PMA (Precision Metalforming Association) and The Reshoring Initiative have awarded the first ever National Reshoring Award to Global Shop Solutions’ customer Mitchell Metal Products in recognition of the company’s success in bringing manufacturing back to the United States from overseas.
Based in Merrill, Wisconsin, Mitchell Metal Products was honored for successfully reshoring products, parts or tooling made by metal forming, fabrication or machining. Mitchell Metal Products increased production of a cultivator handle sub-assembly from 4,500 made overseas to 30,000 made in Wisconsin with the help of ERP software.
