Watters Creek Welcomes Snappy Salads and Fish City Grill

10/9/17

Two deliciously tempting restaurants are coming to the south end of Watters Creekat Montgomery Farm. The center will welcome Snappy Salads and Fish City Grill in the spring of 2018.

“Snappy Salads and Fish City Grill are Texas-grown businesses and local favorites. Their menus and brands are perfect matches at Watters Creek,” said Debra Martinez, marketing director, Watters Creek. “We’re excited to continue leasing momentum and bring in tenants that are focused on giving our community an unforgettable experience.”

Snappy Salads will offer inspired salads made from fresh, quality ingredients with produce that is prepared on site, and soup and dressings from scratch. The restaurant’s gathering tables are made from salvaged wood, and the lighting in the dining area is energy-efficient. Like other locations, this one will offer recycling of batteries and compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) at no cost. Their cups, utensils, and take-out containers are made from annually renewable resources and are compostable, and the straws are made from paper. The restaurant will occupy 2,240 square feet.

“We can’t wait to be part of, and contribute to, this dynamic community,” said Chris Dahlander, CEO, Snappy Salads. “We love this new addition of the Watters Creek development because it offers plenty of quick access off the highway and parking for our guests.”

Fish City Grill’s friendly, neighborhood seafood joint will serve up menu favorites like their famous Oyster Nachos, fresh seafood entrees that change daily, a variety of shrimp, catfish and oyster dishes, as well as soups and salads plus a full bar. Giving back to the community is a big part of the Fish City Grill brand. The First Tuesday Benefit occurs on the first Tuesday of each month and a portion of the day’s proceeds are donated to a local charity. Through this program, the company has donated more than $750,000 since 2001. The full-service restaurant will occupy 2,600 square feet.

“We are proud to bring our 'Friendly Folks' and 'Serious Seafood' to this community,” said Bill Bayne, co-founder and Chief Seafood Officer. “We love to locate our restaurants in unique and/or upscale neighborhoods with other great tenants; Watters Creek certainly fits the bill.”

Watters Creek plans to break ground on the south end of the lifestyle center by the end of this month.
