The Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant, Chuy’s will be opening in the metro Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta. Residents of the area will soon get a taste of Chuy’s famous Tex-Mex favorites when the restaurant opens at 2560 Old Milton Pkwy, Suite 120, Alpharetta, Ga this winter.
Straight from the heart of Texas, Chuy’s is known for its authentic, freshly made Tex-Mex cuisine served in a fun-loving, eclectic atmosphere. The Alpharetta Chuy’s will be the company’s fourth restaurant in metro Atlanta, joining the locations in Dunwoody, Kennesaw and Cumberland
“We’re thrilled to call Alpharetta our newest home, and introduce everyone to Chuy’s unique, made-from-scratch approach to Tex-Mex,” said Joel Docking, local owner/operator of Chuy’s Alpharetta. “Since we opened our first Atlanta restaurant in 2011, we’ve received such a great response. We’re looking forward to continuing to spread our passion for fresh food and even better service to this community.”
For more than 35 years, Chuy’s has been known for its commitment to providing made-from-scratch Tex-Mex using only the freshest ingredients. The menu includes dishes made from hand-rolled tortillas cooked fresh all day on a traditional comal in the dining room and homemade signature sauces ranging from the mild Tomatillo to their spicy Hatch Green Chile. Chuy’s showcases authentic recipes found in South Texas, New Mexico and Mexican border towns.
The 7,000-square foot restaurant with outdoor patio will be located in the Liberty Village shopping center near Avalon. The Alpharetta restaurant will showcase some of Chuy’s signature décor, such as a custom Elvis shrine and a hubcap-covered ceiling, but will also have its own distinct flair and layout. As the Chuy’s motto goes, "If you've seen one Chuy's, you've seen one Chuy's!" because each location’s décor is unique and no two restaurants are the same.
Chuy’s will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner: from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
