North Texas-Based Numed Supports Medical Imaging Education Fund

Numed, Inc. was recognized as a “Friend of the AHRA” for their support the Expanding Excellence Campaign at The Association for Medical Imaging Management’s (AHRA) 45th Annual Meeting and Exposition. The association hosted its annual meeting in Anaheim, California on July 9-12. The award was accepted by Judy Neu, Marketing Manager.

Due to the company’s longstanding commitment in supporting medical imaging education, Numed received the Friend of AHRA award at this year’s meeting. Numed has been a member has attended the annual convention for the past 18 years. 

“We are honored to be recognized by such an influential association in our industry,” said Marc Menkemeller, Numed’s chief executive officer. “We strive each day to improve patients’ over-all well being through medical imaging, and this award serves as reminder of the incredible work that our Numed employees do in support of improved help and better educational research.”

The Expanding Excellence Campaign is a fundraising effort for the development of professional leadership in medical imaging management. Over a course of five years, a total of $3,050,124 was raised surpassing their goal of $3 million. Investments assisted the AHRA to expand its world-class education and research initiatives. Numed, Inc was one of several individuals and companies to be recognized for their involvement in the campaign.
