Over $277,000 Donated in Past 18 Months to Grant Children’s Wishes
Mid-Atlantic Flamingo Party: Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic offices came together to celebrate reaching their goal of raising $13,000 for Make-A-Wish®. As part of the fundraising efforts, team members could pay $10 to “flock” a colleague – where said coworker’s desk would be covered in inflatable flamingoes. Team members could also donate $30 for “flock insurance.”
Transwestern today announces it raised more than $93,000 in one month to support its national philanthropy partner, Make-A-Wish®, in its efforts to grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Since kicking off the national partnership in February 2016, Transwestern has donated more than $277,000 to the organization.
“We continue to be inspired by the generosity of our team members,” said Chip Clarke, President ? Americas. “Our teams have united behind this incredible organization to create extraordinary experiences for truly deserving children. I am proud of the response to our recommitment to Make-A-Wish, and have no doubt this momentum will continue through the rest of the year.”
