Casey Carlton
Casey Carlton has been named a senior environmental planner in the Austin office of WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
In his new position, Mr. Carlton is responsible for overseeing transportation planning and environmental studies and growth of the environmental and planning practice in Texas. He has wide-ranging experience and in-depth understanding of state and federal regulations pertaining to environmental and transportation planning.
Prior to joining WSP, Mr. Carlton managed the planning and environmental department for the South and Central Texas offices of a national engineering firm. He previously served as a transportation planning and environmental coordinator with the Texas Division Office of the Federal Highway Administration, overseeing compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act throughout seven districts of the Texas Department of Transportation as well as oversight of planning programs for five metropolitan planning organizations in Texas.
Mr. Carlton received a master of business administration from West Texas A&M University and a bachelor of science in biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the National Association of Environmental Professionals.
