Wilson Wong To Lead Structural/Bridge Engineering In Texas For WSP USA

Wilson Wong is named the Texas structural/bridge engineering manager at WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In his new position, Mr. Wong will oversee and manage the firm’s structural/bridge groups, personnel and resources in Houston, Dallas and Austin, providing support to the firm’s engineers and ensuring quality delivery to clients. Based in the Houston office, he will be responsible for contributing to the growth of the firm’s transportation practice in Texas, including participating in new business development.

Mr. Wong has over 19 years of experience in project management, communication and budgeting, with an emphasis on transportation projects, civil and structural/bridge designs. Prior to joining WSP, he served as the interim office manager/structural department manager for a transportation engineering consulting firm in Texas.

A licensed professional engineer in Texas, Mr. Wong earned a master’s degree in structural engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas, Austin. Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and American Society of Highway Engineers.
