Canyon Falls residents recently enjoyed a private grand opening celebration of the community’s highly-anticipated amenity center, Canyon Falls Club. The 1,200-acre master-planned community - with its rolling terrain, creek side trails, extensive open space and stands of mature trees - is visually complemented with a proprietary blend stonework that is exclusive to Canyon Falls. Seen at the Canyon Falls Club, entry fronts and screen fences, the elegant stonework is a hardened sandstone from South Texas and Central Oklahoma. Overtime, moss will grow along the top and crevices of the stone, which is aptly named, “Canyon Moss.”
Canyon Falls Club serves as the welcome center for guests to the thoughtfully designed community. It offers residents a 6,851 square-foot amenity center; a 2,695 square-foot pool building and resort-style pool with a depth of 4’10”, beach entry and lounging shelves; a 1,200 square-foot fitness center with personal lockers and shower facilities; fitness lawn for classes; great lawn for community events; covered outdoor living area; parks for people and pets; and miles of interconnected hike and bike trails with educational trail heads. The fitness center is exclusively for residents of Canyon Falls. Children 16 years of age and up can work out in the center when accompanied by an adult. The center is open seven days a week from 5 a.m. - 11 p.m. The well-equipped center includes: treadmills, recumbent bicycles, elliptical trainers, arc trainers, leg press/calf raise, leg extension/leg curl, multi press, lat pull down/mid row, personal pulley gym, free weights, exercise balls/stability balls and stretching mats.
For nature lovers, Canyon Falls first trail system phase will be approximately three miles of trails, with nearly 10 miles of hiking and biking trails throughout Canyon Falls. The trail system is available for residents and public use.
