4/27/17

Unified Power is pleased to announce the promotion of Justin McClung to VP, National Operations, reporting directly to President and CEO, Chris Roach. Justin will be responsible for all field scheduling, operations, support, training and administration.

"Justin brings experience, education, a strong work ethic, and an endless energy supply to our senior management team," said Roach. "We are excited to welcome him into this key management position."

Justin accepts this position after several years of progressive experience within the critical power industry. He served in the US Navy for six years as a Nuclear Electronics Technician. He then accepted his first industry position as a Customer Service Engineer with MGE.

Building on his experience with MGE, Justin joined the independent service world with SEI in Frederick, MD. Justin started as a Senior Field Service Engineer, then eventually worked his way up to Chief Operating Officer after the SEI business was rebranded as Critical Power USA.

Along the way, Justin achieved a Bachelor Degree in Information Systems Management, and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Management.

In his new position, Justin will support Regional Sales Managers, Service Dispatchers, Technical Support/Training Staff and over 100 Field Engineers. He will office out of Unified Power's headquarters in Terrell, TX.

"I am honored to accept responsibility for our national operations," said McClung. "I will ensure our clients consistently receive quality service, while treating my team with respect, professionalism, guidance and support on our mission."

The Unified Power brand began in January 2011 when Pfingsten Partners purchased On Computer Services, a national critical power service company located in Terrell, Texas. The company has invested heavily into systems, product training, technical support, and parts logistics in order to maximize the service experience and reduce risk for its rapidly expanding group of Fortune 500 customers.

Under various brands, Unified Power has provided thousands of companies across the nation with affordable and reliable critical power services for their UPS, DC Plant, and battery systems for more than two decades.

The strategy has been well received in the marketplace, catapulting Unified Power to continued double-digit growth while maintaining a world-class service quality rating. Currently providing services to more than 3,000 customers, the company is well capitalized and aggressively seeking to acquire additional customer-focused, critical power service companies that share the vision.

Other companies under the Unified Power brand include Power Protection Unlimited (Maryland), Sun Sales Company (New Mexico), UPSCO (Ohio), Power Protection Services (Texas), Critical Power USA (Maryland), 24/7 Technology (Georgia) and the UPS division of LionHeart Power Systems (Illinois).
