Michael Trueblood will lead traffic engineering efforts as a senior traffic engineer in the Houston office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
Mr. Trueblood has over 25 years of experience as a transportation engineer with expertise in traffic operations, traffic simulation, transportation planning, roadway and traffic design. He has served as a projectmanager/engineer for transportation corridor studies, route location studies and traffic impact studies for residential, commercial and mixed-use centers. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a senior traffic engineer at a Houston engineering firm, responsible for managing various traffic related projects.
Mr. Trueblood is an adjunct professor at the Missouri University of Science & Technology, teaching traffic engineering and transportation planning classes to undergraduates and graduate students. A licensed professional engineer in Texas, Missouri and South Carolina, he received an M.S. in civil engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla and a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska. He is the past president of TEAM, the St. Louis Area chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
