Ralph E. Davis Associates, an Opportune LLP company, is pleased to announce that Curt Taylor has joined RED as President.
Mr. Taylor has over 30 years of leadership experience in the energy space where he has reviewed hundreds of deals and financed well over a hundred oil and gas transactions. Mr. Taylor has proven leadership in managing financial and technical teams, as well as managing domestic and international transactions that include upstream, midstream, power, coal and alternatives.
“Curt’s wealth of knowledge in both engineering and the energy sector will be a great asset in his new leadership role with us,” said Carl Wimberley, Opportune’s Partner in Charge of Upstream Services.
Mr. Taylor was previously Managing Directorand Head of EIG Engineering for EIG Global Energy. In this role, he provided leadership to support the growth of EIG from 30 to 110 employees and the growth of assets under management from $2 billion to more than $16 billion.

Mr. Taylor is a certified professional engineer in the state of Texas, and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
