Whitley Penn is pleased to announce that OverMont Consulting, LLC has joined Whitley Penn effective today, March 1, 2017.
The OverMont team delivers financial, accounting, economic, and statistical analysis for national and international clients both in and out of the context of high-stakes commercial disputes. OverMont provides economic damages analyses and other litigation support services in a variety of complex commercial disputes, including the areas of intellectual property, breach of contract, business interruption, fraud, and insolvency and bankruptcy, among others. OverMont's team of experienced professionals includes CPAs, MBAs, and JDs who hold numerous relevant certifications and possess a broad array of experience across many different industries. OverMont’s professionals are well versed in the litigation and trial process and have testified as experts in federal district courts, state courts, tax courts, and court of claims, as well as before domestic and international arbitration panels.
The OverMont team is led by Walter Bratic, Carmen Eggleston and Justin Blok.
Bratic has extensive business and consulting experience across a broad range of industries. He has been involved in a variety of litigation matters, involving patent, trademark, copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, tax disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, energy, and antitrust matters. Bratic has testified in federal, district, bankruptcy, and state court, ICC, ITC and AAA proceedings related to a wide variety of civil litigation disputes, including: economic, financial, accounting and business matters. Bratic has also served as a court appointed expert.
Eggleston has managed numerous valuation, corporate restructuring, litigation, and strategic consulting engagements. Her experience includes consulting to both small firms and Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, and service. Eggleston was previously a Partner in the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice at a Big Four accounting firm.
Blok has engaged in a variety of litigation matters involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, business valuation, business interruption, bankruptcy, and fraud. Blok was previously a Manager in the Dispute and Investigations Practice at Navigant Consulting, Inc. and a Senior Associate at CRA International, Inc.
