CBRE has promoted Grant Mueller, MAI, to Managing Director of Valuation & Advisory Services for the Central Texas region with primary business in Austin. Mr. Mueller succeeds David Thibodeaux, who transferred to an investment properties role with CBRE Capital Markets in 2016.

Mr. Mueller oversees a team of 10 Austin appraisers, including four MAI designated members, with experience evaluating all types of commercial real estate. During his 12 years in Austin, Mr. Mueller has appraised some of Austin’s most notable commercial properties, including office towers, mixed-use, residential, and industrial developments.

“The Austin market is one of the most highly sought after commercial real estate markets in the country, and both domestic and international buyers have targeted Austin for investment opportunities in this cycle. Population growth is projected to remain strong and sustain demand for real estate.
