Opportune LLP, a leading international energy consulting firm, today announced the promotion of Farhana Ahmed and Amy Stutzman as managing directors of the firm.

Farhana was previously a director with Opportune’s Restructuring practice. Her experience includes extensive strategic and advisory assignments with oil and gas clients. Prior to joining Opportune, Farhana worked as an energy investment banker at Goldman Sachs, a private equity investor at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and a consultant at Accenture.

Amy previously served as a director in Opportune’s Complex Financial Reporting group based in the Tulsa office. She has 15 years of experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting. Amy has lived and worked overseas in Cairo and Buenos Aires, which has given her significant experience in understanding business processes and risks, and communicating across cultures, departments and reporting segments. Prior to moving overseas, Amy worked as an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, serving clients primarily in the energy and telecommunications industries.
