MYCON General Contractors Ramps Up Special Projects Division

MYCON General Contractors has ramped up its Special Projects division, appointing industry veteran John Leverette to lead the company’s Corporate Group and Rick Dubec to lead the company’s Retail Group. Leverette’s group will operate out of MYCON’s new headquarters in Dallas, Texas while Dubec’s group has been operating out of new offices in College Station.

According to Doug Talley, MYCON’s president, “We launched the Special Projects divisionto perform work for our long-term clients, such as Walmart and Southwest Airlines. Our goal was to provide construction services for smaller projects, and the response has been terrific.” To date, MYCON has secured contracts valued at approximately $14 MM for 2017.

Among the clients utilizing MYCON’s Special Projects division are:

  • Southwest Airlines Headquarters – Interior Remodel
  • Watermark Community Church – Interior Remodel
  • Walmart Learning Centers


MYCON’s Special Projects include structural repairs, interior renovations, building maintenance, site work and other specialty construction services.
