Real estate investment firm reaches landmark of 7,500 units and $500 million assets under management

Nitya Capital, a privately held real estate investment firm, announced today its acquisition of six Houston-area properties – two in Baytown, three in the Champions area and one in the Heights. These properties add 1,462 units to the company’s rapidly expanding portfolio, which now includes a total of 7,500 units and $500 million assets under management.

This multi-property acquisition is the largest deal in the real estate investment firm’s history, the second largest deal having occurred last month when one property purchased added 1,094 units to the company’s portfolio. The acquired six properties will join Nitya Capital’s preexisting portfolio of 19 properties, 17 of which are in the Greater Houston region and two in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

The properties included in this off-market deal are Woodside Village, Sedona Pointe, Gallery at Champions, Brisas del Mar, Briarwood and Marina Club. These properties have an average vintage of 1975.

Each of the properties will be managed by Nitya Capital’s fully-owned and operated property management company, Karya Property Management.
