Kevin Block Receives Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) Corporate Real Estate’s Most Prestigious Designation Awarded by CoreNet Global

Kevin Block, Vice President, JLL, Houston, TX, has been awarded the profession’s most prestigious designation, the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR), by CoreNet Global, the world’s leading association for corporate real estate (CRE) executives. Block is one of 147 global corporate real estate executives to earn the MCR so far in 2016.

CoreNet Global’s MCR professional designation was established in 1982, and is part of a comprehensive career development program for the corporate real estate profession. The program includes more than 100 hours of classroom training, two elective seminars and a Capstone, followed by a graded assessment, all within a five-year period. The MCR, awarded to over 2,405 individuals since its inception, delivers essential skills focused on critical business issues, and reflects strategic competence and successful experience as a corporate real estate specialist.

“The number of MCR graduates in the last few years is a testament to the importance and respect of the designation within corporate real estate,” said Angela Cain, CEO of CoreNet Global. “Kevin Block joins a distinguished class of MCR graduates, who have received extensive training and practical experience, and demonstrated professional competence and a high level of industry knowledge in the field.”
