Each December, Port Corpus Christi employees join together to support local organizations during the holidays. With the giving of gifts to residents of the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Facility, and bringing Santa Claus and Pocca the Pelican to area schools, Port Corpus Christi employees find joy in spreading cheer to our neighbors.
On December 5, 2016, representatives from the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Facility will pick up gifts for residents that were donated by Port Corpus Christi employees between 11 and 11:30 at the Port Corpus Christi Administration building.
On December 6, 7, and 8, 2016, Port Corpus Christi employees will bring Santa Claus, Pocca the Pelican, and lots of holiday cheer to kiddos at area schools. Employee volunteers will bring a small gift to share with the children as Santa and Pocca help to hang ornaments on school Christmas trees. Port Corpus Christi volunteers will visit Evans Elementary on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., Menger Elementary on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., and Ingleside Primary on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
