Berkadia announced the addition of Kristen McDade as Senior Director in its Houston office. McDade, who specializes in land brokerage, will serve on the investment sales team, reporting to Keith Misner, Berkadia’s Senior Vice President and Head of Investment Sales.

McDade’s hiring comes on the heels of the Houston team’s announcement that it tripled the size of its office space to accommodate a rapidly expanding team, and was on target to reach a commercial debt production milestone: $3.5 billion over the last 18 months.

A native of Houston, McDade most recently served as Vice President at CBRE, where she was a leading land broker. Prior to joining CBRE, McDade was employed by McDade, Smith, Gould, Johnston, Mason + Company, and also served a stint as Associate Vice President of Real Estate for the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, where she managed a team of approximately 30 for the Right of Way acquisition for five light rail projects in Houston.

McDade has been a member of Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) and Commercial Exchange. She previously attended University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.
