Keith Klemowits & Greg Rosser, Grant Thornton LLP
Grant Thornton LLP promoted Keith Klemowits to Forensic and Valuation Services managing director and Greg Rosser to Tax managing director in the firm’s Houston office, effective Aug. 1. Across the firm, Grant Thornton admitted 50 new partners and principals and promoted 29 professionals to managing director.
Managing directors are the highest-level employee position in the firm and are important members of the firm’s leadership team.

Klemowits joined Grant Thornton in 2010 and has 15 years of experience, working with U.S. and international corporations on the valuation of tangible assets, personal property, business valuation, intellectual property, corporate securities, partnership interests and intangible assets of privately-held and publicly traded businesses. He has assisted clients in numerous industries, including energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, construction, retail, technology, aerospace, health care, consumer products and financial services. Prior to his promotion, he served as a director.
Klemowits is an accredited senior appraiser and a member of the American Society of Appraisers, as well as a member of the Association for Corporate Growth. He received a master’s of business administration degree from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
Rosser joined Grant Thornton in 2011 and has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and information technology, with a focus on the energy industry. He has significant experience in database design and development, as well as transaction tax organization diagnostics and analysis. He has developed numerous custom tax applications, including captive procurement company management systems, motor fuel tax compliance applications and other solutions geared toward tax organizational effectiveness. Prior to his promotion, he served as a director within the firm’s Indirect Tax group.
Rosser is a certified public accountant in Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Lavaca County Wildlife Management Association. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana Tech University.
