Tyrone Rice joins the Houston/Gulf Coast region with 27 years of sales and wireless experience
HOUSTON - Verizon Wireless announced today that Tyrone Rice has been named director - Business Sales for the Houston/Gulf Coast Region.
Rice has been with Verizon Wireless since 2008 and most recently served as associate director - Business Sales for the Georgia/Alabama Region. He possesses more than 27 years of experience in sales leadership roles, including nine years of telecommunications sales experience.
In his new role, Rice will oversee the strategic planning and execution for the business sales channel, with a key focus on customer and revenue growth initiatives, operations and team development.
"Tyrone brings a strong sales background and solid leadership experience from his most recent role with Verizon Wireless. He will be a tremendous asset to the Houston/Gulf Coast Region team and will help us continue to achieve our region objectives," said Krista Bourne, region president- Houston/Gulf Coast.
Tyrone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
